My massively talented friend and makeup artist @kristinajmua turned me into a zombie the other day for a school photoshoot. Her teacher, Kyle Glencross also helped with the makeup, this dude was just TOO COOL and has worked on movies such as: Diary of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim, Splice, 300, Silent Hill etc.. and was a massive inspiration. He even pointed me in the direction of possibly working in FX shops in Toronto! SO STOKED. I also can’t wait to show you guys the final pictures all edited.

Okay, I’ve got one.

The year was 2009. The place, Sheridan college. I was just in line in the learning commons (basically a big computer lab) with my classmate waiting to pick up some software.

SUDDENLY a dapper young fellow with a scarf and a cameraman walk up to us and asked us if we’d like to be interviewed. For you see, he was in the running to be the next Much Music VJ and was in a tense competition to get the job. We agreed to answer his questions, and he proceeded to ask us about Michael Jackson and the movie that was due to come out about his life.

At the end of the interview, he took down our names, and told us the video would be up soon. Curious as I was, I searched for his channel later that evening, and to my amazement, the video was already up. To my even…more..amazement? I guess? Uhh, I noticed that he was actually quite popular in the world of youtube! I discovered an amazing collab channel that he was a part of, as well as the multidimensional vloggers involved with it, and my eyes were opened to the wonder that is youtube vlogging. I’ve since started vlogging more myself thanks to his and their influence, and I am happy that I was able to meet him.

Oh and in case you didn’t know, that dapper young fellow was Andrew Bravener.
